Curt Hilmer

Asst coach - Safeties - JV Special Teams

This will be Hilmer's 12th year coaching defense for the Knights. He has coached corners and safeties. Included are college players Jared Wauters (Wartburg), Brad Siebel (COE), and Kolten Bader (BVU), and Eric Vaughn (UD).

Coach Hilmer was a four-sport standout (17 letters in four years) at Dysart-Geneseo HS. He lettered in baseball (5), wrestling (4), football (4), and track (4).

After HS, Coach Hilmer enrolled at Wartburg College. He is also a long-standing assistant coach with the Union Knight wrestling program which is one of the top programs in the state of Iowa. Hilmer and Hadachek played HS football together at Dysart-Geneseo.

Curt enjoys dirt track racing with his son Brady which makes it three generations of family racing. He has four children: Kelsi, Raini, Brady, and Jaimi.
