U12 Division (SENIOR DIVISION): AGES 11—12
The Senior Division builds on the fundamentals taught in the Pxie and Junior Division. To provide more competition and additional teams, the U12 Team(s) will be participating in the Towamencin U12 League which consists of teams from Boyertown to Quakertown to Ambler. This league is broken into 2 divisions - grouping neighboring leagues for weekly play. The final playoff/championship game will take the winners from each of the divisions to determine the "champion".
At this level, players continue to be taught the skills of:
* Windmill Pitching
* Catching
* Stealing of all bases but home
* Sliding
* Walks as well as strikeouts are now counted
* Bunts are allowed
* "Dropped Third Strike" Rule is introduced
* After 3 outs or 6 runs, the inning will end.
