| Shamrocks is a strong team from top to bottom with some good pitching depth. Let's see if the momentum can last from the league playoffs.
Champion: Shamrocks Runner Up: Millers Second Runner Up: SLP

| Several good as well as interesting match ups
Round One
Angels pound Tri City
Four Leaf Clovers against legit but young Bloomington team could seriously go either way. The favorite in my opinion is Shammy Socks but #2 Riverview team is always tough.
Purple Pirates is bad match up for Park. I will take the old timers in this one as it could be the last run for a great team as a core unit. They will be seriously motivated to make a core group veteran run through the tourney.
Lakers thump Rooster
Round Two:
Angels beat N.End in what I view as not being an upset.
Pub vs Bloomington or Shammie Blankets.....Im going to go with Pub over either one of them. Personally think Shamrocks and Bloomington are a little bit over rated.
Park will crush Stockmens if they get past the UST kids.
Tonka will destroy Lakers
Im picking a classic old school matchup with Pub taking on Angels.....I will go with Pub to come out of one bracket to the winners bracket final game.
If it is Park Tonka in the other winners bracket final obviously another vintage match up and it has been a while since it last took place in the tourney. Like I said Park may be on a motivated mission and playing real loose which is a dangerous combination for anyone in facing them. Obviously can't look past Tonka but Im taking Park if they can get to this game.
I like Shammy Socks to come out of the loosers bracket as well as Bloomington with a Loosers bracket final three of these two and Tonka plus Angles.
Angels won't survive the bottom bracket at any point of being put there. Shammys can and have beat Tonka in the past so who knows there but I tell you what Bloomington will be a force to reckon with in the bottom bracket.
Pub could get back to the championship game.......
Park is my pick to win it all followed by:
Mtka Pub Bloomington Shamrocks
However any of these five teams could win it.
No other teams need apply for final five.

| Here is my other prediction......if The Miller's bats get hot they will put up eye popping bone crushing numbers in winning four games in a row by decisive numbers.
Honestly do not think there has been a better batting order top to bottom in the last 25 years.
With the second best last two decades plus being the Park club of '02

| Premature comment about current Tonka batting order BEFORE the state tournament?

| This years Tonka line-up isn't even close to the best ever, or even second best. If you asked the guys on the team that have been around awhile they'd likely agree with that. Over the years Park, the Pub, the Angels, Wesley Homes, and Rooster have had better line-ups than this years Tonka team. They may still have the best line-up in Class A (win or lose the tourney) but not one of their Top 2 for sure. Maybe not even Top 5.
The best line-up that I've faced is St. Paul Rooster's 2002 line-up and it's rivaled by few teams Park of 2002 and the 2007 Tonka team for sure, but no one else really comes to mind.

| Agreed. Any Park team with guys who rake (proven veterans and battle-tested winners like Johnson, Fix, Paulseon, Lindstrom couple others) are in this conversation. The 2007 Miller team that went 54-3 had these now-retired guys in the line up Waldman, Kurtz, Mikenas, Berset and - dare I say - the legendary Tony Richards. Meanwhile, if memory serves me correctly, the 2002 Rooster club (outhit and beat the Millers in state tourney that year) had a former Big Leaguer in Tom Quinlan, a former 1st Round Draft pick in Chris Schwab, Darren Grass and a couple others who could rake....

| 2002 Rooster also included Tony Fisher, Jim Conlee, Steve Pignato, etc. They were stacked!

| I was simply trying to tighten up The Millers and put pressure on them. With that being typed it is obvious in seeing that my predictions were pretty much not on point.
Congrats to all teams who have won thus far and good luck to all those remaining

| It's amazing that the Millers have won ten titles with such second rate line-ups. I knew it was all luck!!
