| It has been brought to the leagues attention that certain playoff games are in need of umpires more than other games. Regardless, no umpires are being provided for Farm level play. Playoffs are taken serious, even at this level, and some teams and parents are uncomfortable without umpires. Parents and spectators are making the calls and coaches are allowing it to happen.
Further, threats are made and heard during regular season games at some of these games, which a person can only imagine what can or will happen at a playoff game.
It's truly is in the best interest of the CHILDREN and the parents, who all invest so much into this league to ensure FAIR play and SAFE play. It would be a shame and heavy burden on the leagues shoulders to carry if something were to happen which could have been prevented.
