Can anyone give some insight on slapping. Is the rule the same as high school ball? As long as 1 foot is in the box, the batter is ok? Or, are they out if both feet are not inside the box? I was told it is in the Pony rule book. I just can't find it. I need to find some clarification. Any insight would be great.

I could not find anything on it either but I would say just like hitting as long as the front foot is touching some part of the batters box front line its a good hit. now if they are outa the box and make contact they would be out.

Girls book, page 49, rule 8, section 1a.

The batter shall not have her entire foot touching the ground completely outside the lines of the batters box or touching home plate when the ball is hit.

If this happens, the batter will be called out whether the ball is hit fair or foul.

Just because someone is slap hitting does not give them an advantage that the player hitting normally does not have. There is a reason the batters box is on the field.
