| Congratulations to Jackson LL for defeating Maryland 7-4 to take their first game in the Eastern Region Tournament just now in Bristol, Conn!! .... Tommy Cartnick started and got the win. Steve Slusak's 3 run homer in the 3rd put Jackson ahead to stay!! A 3 run bases clearing double by Jake Wendell in the 4th gave Jackson the cushion they needed to hold off Marylands rally in the 5th. Caden Brooks with a diving play to end the 5th inning left Maryland with the bases loaded, after cutting the lead to 6-4. Maryland had the tying run at the plate again in the top 6th when Ryan Lasko shut the door to save the Jackson win! Great game boys!! Good Luck on Thursday!!
