| Holbrook 11's got off to a hot start today with an 8-4 win over Middletown in Game 1 of the Section 3 Tournament!
Holbrook scored 3 in the first with 2 outs, highlighted by an RJ Vashey double! Charlie Meglio hit a solo HR in 2nd and Holbrook held a 4-0 lead until the 4th. Middletown fought back with a 2 run HR (only 2 runs-and hit that Garret Drew gave up). Chris Andrews came in to pitch in the 5th with the bases loaded & 2 outs, and held Middletown to one run to make it 4-3. Holbrook broke the game open scoring 4 in top 6, with a big Andy Osmond 2 run double off the right field fence! Andrews shut down Middletown again in the 6th, giving up 1 run and closing out the game for the win!!
Game 2 vs Oldbridge on Tuesday night at 6pm!! Great job boys!!
