| Holbrook's 11yr Old All Stars were in a slugfest last night with Berkeley LL. The teams traded the lead back-and-forth on Monday, but eventually Holbrook prevailed 15-12.
Our boys took the lead for good in the fifth inning, when with the game tied at 11, Nicky Mellino singled to drive in the go ahead run.
Zaine Toneske led Holbrook, going 3-for-4 at the plate. Zaine drove in 6 runs on a home run in the second and a home run in the fifth.
Aidan O'Donnell also hit 2 homeruns for the home team!!
Holbrook collected 17 hits. O'Donnell, Toneske, Brett Benecke, Nicky Izzo, and Mellino each collected multiple hits. Benecke, Toneske & O'Donnell all had three hits to lead Holbrook.
