| The problem is that no vote should have been necessary in this situation. No good can come of it.
The league should take some of the funds they are making from the concession and tournaments and extend the offer to pay the fees for teams to Nationals places one to four. The Central Section is very tough, and our kids deserve a chance to go for the experience of a lifetime.
Teams should be allowed to hold a fundraiser to help off-set the cost of the hotel.
Each board member and coach is greatly appreciated for their volunteer hours. Each parent who works concession, keeps the score/scoreboard,etc. is greatly appreciated. Each parent that enters their child in the league is to be appreciated.
These conversations are sometimes difficult, and there are going to be disagreements.
SBParent: There are a lot of hurt feelings right now. You have the right to express that hurt, but you did it in the wrong manner.
WearIt: You should remember that without the parents, board and coaches working together, there would not be a MVYBA. You have a few good points, but resorted to childish outbursts. I hope you do not represent this hard-working board.
