I would hope they did have music and if they competed this weekend did well. There are times coaches have kids practice more to the 8 count and less dependant on the music (holding the music till last few weeks) Kids need to focus on the moves to the count because at Nationals if the music stops the team needs to keep going...

Every coach does things differently. I have seen many ways of putting together a routine. Most high school and All star coaches that I know do NOT get their team’s music until the routine is done and the kids know their counts. Usually one of two practices before hand for the 1st comp. I have had team use all music just to see if they are doing the counts right. Getting music before that can only progress bad habit s with not counting right and timing issues. I think you should really focus on being a positive person and not always look at things to be a problem, maybe there is a reason behind your daughters team not having HEARD their music yet. Being supportive to your child and encouraging the team would work better, more than complaining about something that may be a problem, you’re not the coach.
