| I don't know about Moe's being the exception.
Stillwater put together a dandy team from the get-go.
Woodbury put together a solid team from the start.
Green Mill came in swinging right away.
There was one team (name's slipped my mind at the moment [it was named after a bar] - old-timers help me out on the name) that simply was poorly run...and they dropped out of the Skyline and existance all together a couple years back. (They used to be a rival of Stockmens and played them at the end of the season every year.)
I suspect it comes down to whether you already have a network of players who love the game and have played it at a competitive level as your core of the team.
Knights might consider looking at one of the MIAC schools around the Metro and working with that school to bring in a core of players to help establish some consistency.
Talk with a few people and network some of those kids that attend Colleges and University's out-state, but would like to come home to St. Paul for the summer and keep playing. This is the basic core to establish a consistency on the diamond. IMHO
