| Air Freight vs Lyons Pub. Great game to start off the tourney. Air Freight is much improved and assuming they will throw Whinnery vs Miester, believe it is enough to shut down Pubs dangerous offense in a low scoring game.
Minnetonka vs Stockmens. Minnetonka is again the most talented team in the entire state. I would assume if the Irish want any shot at the upset they have to throw Wolf on 4 days rest. Although Minnetonka beat Wolf last year I expect a lot closer game than many think, but too many offensive weapons for the Millers get the job done.
Stillwater vs Bloomington. As i predicted the Bandits would knock off the highly regarded Edina for there 1st appearance. Bloomington has a stud pitcher in Olson. Stillwater took out Green Mill to my surprise, and think the Loggers are going to make a run in another low scoring contest.
Rocks vs Edge. The Rocks make there 1st appearance in large part to there offense. Edge swept a good Sport team. I see this coming down to the Edge pitching, speed and athleticism shutting down the Rocks offense.
Round 2. Air Freight vs Moes- I really think Moes is the real deal and will be throwing everything at Air Freight who has given up some runs this year when Whinnery is not on the mound. I see Moes winning, barely.
Minnetonka vs Wesley Homes- Best game of round 2 and could easily flip a coin. I questioned Minnetonkas pitching earlier but either Broxey or Woodrow are very solid. Wesley is as hot as anyone and have two or three great pitchers themselves. I can't go against Minnetonka in a little league park, who will be hungry to avenge last years dissapointing finish.
Stillwater vs Shamrocks- Shamrocks are my pick to win it all and Lindstrom is my reason why. There hitting seems to getting better and better which will be far too much for Stillwater
Edge vs St. Louis Park. The Park boys are getting up in age and might not have too many more runs left as a group so im sure they will be prepared. If anything can beat them its hustle and speed. which is what the Edge have. Not a good match-up for Park. The difference will be Parks two top pitchers. I could see this going either way as well.

| My vote is commanding edge to win it all. Being that they are all current college players, they have a solid lineup 1-9 and a very good pitching staff. I feel that when these guys step on the field, its just another game for them and they will have that mentality in the tourney. I know a lot of people say that "veteran" teams have an advantage, I disagree, I think that these younger guys are the perfect recipe for the state title.

| I agree with you in regards to their staff, and their athleticism. However, the one thing that they have working against them is the same thing working for them the fact that they are all STILL in college. There is a huge difference that takes many guys years to transition from metal to wood, let alone a 25 game summer. It's very difficult as many of you know, to get away from the lazy, aluminum bat swing.
Also, the fact that the tourney isn't the end of their season, it's basically a hiatus until fall ball. Many of these guys will be looking forward to having August off since they've been playing since February. For us old guys, we go out and fight tooth and nail to win it since we won't be on the field again until May. It's a different mentality.
But I agree with you, the will be a very tough team.
