Who is suppose to enter the scores so the standings get updated? It looks like Highland, TC Saints and Air Freight have not updated their scores.

I gotta give the TC Saints some credit. They are not as bad as advertised. They threw their big lefty for the complete game shutout against us. 4-0

are you kidding me?!?! the saints are a joke! they have been a bottom feeder for years! they have -48 run differential this year.

yes, they maybe have 1 guy that can throw but everyone can agree with me. their overall game is embarrassing they make more errors than every team combined.

I still like the capitols to win the lg

RaysFan1 you probably don't even play in this f*cking league or ever have. And on another note your not even a fan to a good team.
Yeah the Saints may not win every game but when we do we party hard so why don't you come hangout with us after our next game and introduce the almighty fag*t Raysfan aka he-who-wants-an-*ss-whooping.

Well......so much for Rosetown being any good. Just lost to the PUB. Ouch. TC Saints suck.... I'll throw another perfect game against them... unless the pitcher bitches about how much he sucks and gets the game called, because his team can't hit and the pitcher can throw strikes because the mound/ball was too wet.

I see Rosetown then beat St. Louis Park. I guess they can't be all that bad then. They are in the Championship game vs. the Stockmens.

John Bobbit,

You guys are more interested in "partying" after the game then the game it's self. It's a shame really.

You guys are an embarrassment to this league.

Q: When was the last time the saints were at a win percentage of .500? .400? .300?

A: Never!!!

I'm surprised you guys even still have a team. I wont be surprised when some of your "better" players leave because of your teams poor play and attitudes just like in years past. But than again you will find players who belong in "in house baseball". Just stop playing and save this lg the embarrassment your team provides.

Save your integrity and just fade away. It was a good run saints...

The guy from Air Freight was only trying to give us props for having played better baseball recently. What joy do you derive from bashing on a group of young and improving players... anonymously?

I watched St. Louis Park play. Looks like a handful of their perennial players have hung up the cleats. Still a nice team, but it seems they may need a bit of time to gel and find out what roles each person needs to fill.

RaysFan, please pick another sport to watch. Last I knew these kids were amateurs just out to have some fun for a couple more years before they needed to get knee replacements. Who cares if a team is good or bad. It's not like anyone is going to get on SportsCenter. (By the way...some great defense by both the Stockmen's Irish and Rosetown A's for the championship game of the Irish Invitational!)

RaysFan, you're coming off as bitter person. Hopefully that's not what you are. I'd like to think that you're better than the comments you've left on this site. Lighten up and enjoy a kids game.

Auggie tech, Last time i checked the pub finished 2nd in state last year with the exact same team they have this year. So not a bad loss for Rosetown giving that they came back and beat St Louis park right after that.

Why don't you just be quiet and give props to anybody still playing. In 1999 there were 18 teams (or so) in the P Nash, now there are 8, and one of our own wants to play Silky Johnson and hate on the ones that aren't as competitive in the SP League (or Skyline, I honestly don't know the difference.) Careful what you wish for, we'll have 2 leagues before you know it and a 4 team tourney drawing 11 fans each game.

Boner is right, leagues are losing teams left and right. The Park National is down to 8 teams and the Riverview is down to 7. Unbelievable.

The Rock's folded, Eastside Merchants folded, Richfield, Brooklyn Park, Eden Prairie (two different teams), Bloomington Bulldogs, Bloomington Redbirds, Austin, St. Louis Park Atomic, Richtown Bombers(?), Woodbury are all teams that folded within the last 10 years (probably more too).

Lakeville and Coon Rapids are teams that played "A" ball and moved on to play class "B".

Teams keep falling down and new ones aren't showing up. That is a problem. Guys need to quit ripping apart teams that finish towards the bottom of leagues because they are needed just as much as the teams that always win. Pretty soon there isn't going to be any class A baseball left and all the remaining teams are going to have to move onto class B.

Hopefully this changes soon ...

And Tonka is moving to Class "B" next year. Say good riddance if you will, but that's one more team. So cry like a bitch, or promote the league.

There was a time when there were only three leagues in Class A. There was St. Paul, Minneapolis and Riverview. The only reason why the Skyline league formed was there were too many teams that wanted to be in the St. Paul league and the Stockmen at the time wanted out of the league so they would have a better shot at making the State tournament every year. So don't worry about Class A going anywhere. You might see the State Tournament go back to only 8 teams in the future though but as far as Class A folding that will not happen anytime soon.

I don't believe there were 45 teams in Class A when there were only 3 leagues. If you can name them go ahead. The most Riverview has had I believe was 11 and that was only a few years ago. St. Paul used to have more than any of the other leagues. They have always had 10 or more and when they had more there was actually 2 divisions. St. Paul actually boycotted the State Tournament years ago because they had more teams and would only get 2 teams in the Tournament. I'm sure I'm wrong on a few things but if you know for sure lets hear it.

Switchy: The Pub team Rosetown played was no where near the team from last year. It might be fair to say that the Pub hasn't fielded the same lineup all year. This happens with the youth movement, trying to get guys playing time and trying to get guys to show up. Very inconsistent year. Although, I'll have to say that the Pub might be the only team with a record 8-14 with a run differential of +5. As for Class A teams... If things remain constant and teams keep falling, You will see the Richfield Renegades make a come back.

Switchy- Pub roster hasn't been updated for this year. Schedule and scores are what matter most. You can take 6 guys off the roster that you see and go ahead and add 7-8 players for this year. Not the same team. Same core guys but not the same team.
