| 1st Round
Pub vs. Blue Sox No surprises here. Pub in two.
Merchants vs. Rats This won't be much of a series either. Rats could win a game, but I think Merchants win in two as well.
2nd Round
Angels vs. Patriots Great series. Both split the regular season. Patriots are playing well as of late. Patriots in three.
Cobras vs. Merchants Merchants could pull an upset if the Cobras don't bring their A-Game. I still say it's Cobras in three.
Lakers vs. Pub Depending on what Pub team shows up, this series is a toss up. Since I have picked an upset, I'm going with Pub in three.

Pats lose to Angels in 2
Merch over rats in 2 Then lost to cobras in 2
Pub over Blue Sox in 2 then beat lakers in 2

| Being the #1 Park National fan I will take a crack at the outcomes of these great series.
Pub easily over Blue Sox in 2.
Merchants over Rats in 2 but close.
Angels vs Patriots = This series looks good on paper but I feel the Angels are peaking at the right time. The ultimate factor is the rotation of the Angels. McDonald needs to get the Patriots a win to make it a series. I don't see it happening. Angels win in 2.
Lakers vs Pub = Another great series on paper. The Lakers and Pub are hard to figure out. I see this series going 3 games but I honestly don't feel the Pub has a good enough pitching staff to compete for 27 innings. Game 1 is crucial for the Pub to take down the Lakers to gain the momentum over a struggling team. Lyons Pub needs to give Metter a start. Cousins and Meister have been solid but you need more out of them if Pub is going to win. I like the Lakers in 3.
Cobras vs Merchants = This should be another close call as theres not that big of a gap between these two. Cobras can score in bunches but they might be overlooking there opponent who upset the Patriots last year. In my opinion this could go either way and whoever picks to ball in field will take this one. Tempted to go with the Merchants but give the Cobras the nod in 3.

| Pub beat Blue Sox twice, advance to face Lakers.
River Rats beat Merchants in game 1, Merchants win game 2 in softball game 19-8. Game 3 on Monday at 7pm.

| That's why they are called predictions. It was my opinion on what I though would happen. Lakers choked the latter part of the season and Lyons Pub played well. I said Cousins and Meister needed to pitch well to win and they did. Angels on the other hand choked in a even bigger way. Up 7-2 late and lose game one 8-7. That kind of momentum swing is killer. Good luck to both the Pub and Patriots. Even the great P-Nash fan is mortal on occasions.
