| So, we sat tonight in the parking lot enjoying the moment, happy about our win in the bottom of the 7th. But imagine another 5, 10, 15 or even 34 years relishing the same stories, beers and moments after games?
Yes, we on Griffiths play with Mark Pearson who is now in his 34th year in the USPL...that is friggin amazing! So the next time we take the field it is important for us ALL to acknowledge and respect those old bastards like Mark who have worked to make this league the premier place to play in the province.
Cheers to you Pearson and all you other old farts who still lace em up!

| Forget the train. All he wants is attention and more attention - and to park his butt at the plate and pretend he can hit it out all the time. He is not interested in the game or the team. And speaking of things to forget, two thirds of the teams can forget the season. Of the 18 teams, only 8 have any shot. And it’s only August! Might as well stop the music and let the 8 teams begin a playoff and get it over with by Labor Day.

At least I'm in touch with reality, as "The older I get the better I was".I'm the Aussie guy in the outfield, hard to miss. So much to comment on this post, not sure where to start.... Pretty sure that no one thinks that the beer league in Unionville is the center of the Baseball world. Everyone knows the best Baseball is played in Australia....... However, I know I will be watching my back and my head, cause it's seems like the "best draft pick in the last 20 years", means business!!
