I went to bed with a few minutes to go of MNF last night. Woke up to the worst injustice I've seen in a football game. Embarrassing. These replacement refs in the NFL are almost as bad as the umps you'd find in some of our games.

Hey Wacker,

Why do you come on here and right crap? Our umps do a great job, still having to put up with crap from guys like you.

I've got a good idea. Why don't you go find some parks, get your permits and umpires, and start your own little perfect league?

Do us a favour and zip it.

PS. It was a great final. Congrats to both teams for putting on an exciting game. Congrats to Duchess - 2012 Champs!

Wacker,

I agree with one thing you said. The pack was robbed on Monday night.

As for your additional comments about the USPL umpires. Get a grip!! I suggest you either look for a new place to play ball or put your time where your big mouth is and get your umpiring ticket and spend 3-4 nights a week getting all the calls right.

Enough said,

Sharpe

Packerwacker,
Wow, really?? You want to throw a few USPL umpires under the bus, just because an NFL replacement ref made a sh*tty call on Monday night?? Really?

The guys in red hats that I work with in the USPL care more about this league than a lot of the players. Collectively, we have been involved with the league for so many years, it’s hard to count. We work hard, try to be fair, try to have fun, and make sure others in the league try to have fun.

Do we get every call right?? Absolutely not. Do we *TRY* to get every call right?? Absolutely! Such is the nature of being an official.

If you’re serious about it, you’re welcome to give it a try. I’ll warn you, though... it’s not for the faint of heart. You can expect lots of criticism, lots of chirping, and more than a few pissed off friends (and maybe even family members). But, on the plus side, you’ll become a huge millionaire umpiring several games a week! [sarcasm]

Anyway, sorry to sound pissed off. I’m not really. This is the greatest league I’ve ever been involved with, and so I hate when guys randomly diminish it. We need to make sure we keep our league a fun, safe, and competitive place to play. Do not let guys like Packerwacker bring this league down!

Have a great winter everyone. See you next May!

I would like to thank personally Gonzo, George, Cadorin, and all the umpires for making this season one of the best....To go out and play competitive ball, then having a few pops with your teammates and other great players in the league after, is quite a treat......Made a lot of new friends, on and off the field....100% class

wacker...

i suggest you drop the packer from your name... calling out the umps because you are a mediocre player and human being doesn't improve your status in life..

go play in another league where you dont have umpires and see how much fun you have .. Jimmy, Dave, Dana and the others who help out when needed do the best job they can and without them our league would not be what it is, the best ..

why dont you put your name out there instead of throwing guys under the bus behind the mask of a terrible handle...

WACK!

Another great season in the books, thanks to all who help make this league the great one that it is.. if you dont like it leave, nobody wants you here with that kind of crap.

I said this years ago and will say it again...somehow make it so that you can only post under your real name. It will eliminate pin prick meatheads from shooting off their mouths while sitting in their basement apt drinking Laker and eating cheetos.

I guarantee that will minimize the retarded posts like wacky moron there threw out or the guy who suggested the Duch didnt rightfully earn their title this weekend.

Make it happen Gonzo!

Cheers,

My teams are the Packers and Nortre Dame. I went from a disappointing performance from my team during the week to a beat down of Michigan on Saturday to my USPL team being eliminated. The roller coaster ride was overwhelming. Monday night I was on another high with the Pack and it was taken away by a BAD call. My post was supposed to be complimentary to our USPL umps it came out wrong. My sincere apologies. I was flustered after seeing what happened to my Packers. That was my first and this may be my last post. I need to review before I hit enter.

One of my biggest gifts God has given is being able to articulate and be specific about what I'm thinking and feeling. So my question is what happened to Tar, DST, MAS and the Arms in the playoffs?

So many nice Tar players I have known over the years. Feel terrible for them.  They took a beating on the Friday night. Their overall performance must of been a hard pill to swallow. Empty feeling i'm sure. Next year boys.

It's impossible to make the same "mistake" twice. The second time, it's called a decision. Draft your buddies and you may end bitter and in the bottom of the league like some teams. Just because you make mistakes doesn't mean you are one.
