| As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.
So, to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every single day (if I feel like it).

| IT IS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT (AND I FEEL FINE) As I’m sure you’re aware, some believe the world is coming to an end tomorrow 12/21/12 If for any reason you’re concerned, I found this bit of info to put your mind at ease: Since the Mayan calendar did not include leap years, the world should have ended about 13 months ago. I think we're good, because even the Duchess boys won a big game.

before i start... by no means is this directed at anyone on this forum, and im not trying to start trouble or anything of that sort... more looking for some advice.
on this forum it has happened time and time again that people have been mis-lead, taken advantage of, for lack of a better term "Screwed over" wether it be for their opinion on umps, fields etc.
these people are called out on the forum till they come clean on any issues that they have had past or present.
SO...my question is...
at some point or another we know guys that we play ball with who avoid paying league fees, beer fees, jersey/uniform fees etc, and (that im aware of) there is no "call out" on these people. and i get it, sometimes work, family, LIFE... get in the way and make it difficult to cover the complete cost of sports or the things we like to do for fun, and i will 110% admit i have been guilty of this as well, and im REALLY trying not to be a hypoctite, but i just had to cover some of my teammates with the early fee, out of my pocket which im not overly impressed about, i have been patient, i have asked/reminded politely... but when it enough, enough...
at what point do you start spreading the word that these people dont "pay-to-play"
like i said above, just looking for some insight, i would appreciate any help those out there can provide!

| I'm 37 with a strong arm looking to join your league in 2013. I won't complain about playing time and will fill any roll required. I just want to have fun and compete again. I'm not a bad hitter or fielder if required but I'm thinking there's lots of younger guys who would fill those spots. Should I just mail the form in?
