I just thought we all need a volunteer score keeper at each game. To help the umps count runs since some lose track, or when they just take word on how many from that teams side. It would of helped out the other night in a close game. Just ask who wants to do it and put them in charge or maybe 5 dollars a game. I know they do that down the hill so what do you think of having a list of people to do it and have them be in charge.

On the Thursdays I'm not ump'ing, and if it's not a 9pm game, I'll come help. Just let me know your schedule. Right now, unless I pick up a game in a league other than my own, I'm open on Thursdays.

And if the City wants to do it the way little league does, the home team provides the official score keeper, which can be anyone. But they can't sit in the dugout, and can only talk about the game to the blue. Most teams both keep score, which could also work, and just compare after each at bat.

Late game might work. Parker and I are ump'ing in Hesperia at a 6pm game. We'll be finished by 9pm.

I asked Dave about official score keepers for the games (he brought it up during the manager meeting) and said that they dont do score keepers for softball! But i always keep score of my husbands games-for his team! He plays on your thursday team too, So ill start bringing the score book for that day and just keep score! and ya that last game was close, wish i was taking score!
