| Start with where you would contact it with a batting T, even with your belly/waist and branch out from there as your skill level and offensive needs dictate. If you can't hit 8 out of 10 level and hard over where the infielders would be off a tee, I would get that down first. Feet not planted per se (rotation, squash the bug, etc.) but I wouldn't recommend running at it.
