South Brunswick ended its winter season with several strong performances at the Meet of Champions at Ocean Breeze on Staten Island!
Melanie LaCorte earned the team's lone medal, as her leap of 5'2 in the High Jump earned her a tie for 4th place!
Other athletes who had PRs were Dafina Simon-Ponte in the 800 (2:18.93, 6th all-time in school history); Yashika Chidirala in the 3200 (11:23.55, 7th all-time in school history) and in the 4x800 (2:22); and the 4x800 team of Nina Liu, Chidirala, Serena Hutchison, and Simon-Ponte that ran a season-best of 9:41.76 with Hutchison also setting a PR on her leg!
