CJ McCallister showed timely hitting on Sunday, driving in five on three hits to lead Franklin County Bandits past Burlington Brewers 14-7 on Sunday. McCallister drove in runs on a double in the first, a walk in the second, and a home run in the sixth.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Franklin County Bandits collected 11 hits and Burlington Brewers four in the high-scoring affair

In the first inning, Franklin County Bandits got their offense started when McCallister doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Franklin County Bandits tallied seven runs in the second inning. Franklin County Bandits put the pressure on, lead by singles by Ben Archambault and Justin Dattilio, a walk by McCallister, and an error on a ball put in play by Will Fowler.

Burlington Brewers scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning for Burlington Brewers came thanks to a walk by Oliver Quong, by Stetson Ward, and an error on a ball put in play by Alden Wheeler.

Fowler was the winning pitcher for Franklin County Bandits. The righthander went four and a third innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out six. Archambault threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Chris James took the loss for Burlington Brewers. James went one and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on six hits and striking out four.

Franklin County Bandits tallied one home run on the day. McCallister went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

Franklin County Bandits racked up 11 hits on the day. McCallister, Dattilio, and Caleb Smith each collected multiple hits for Franklin County Bandits. McCallister went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Franklin County Bandits in hits.

Adyn Oshkello led Burlington Brewers with two hits in three at bats.
