Burlington Brewers scores more runs than Champlain Mariners, takes victory on Sunday to the tune of 8-5

Burlington Brewers captured the lead in the second inning when Stetson Ward singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the fourth Anthony Detoma drew a walk, scoring one run, Henry Wood-Lewis singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run, Sky Platt tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs, and Adyn Oshkello singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Platt earned the win for Burlington Brewers. The fireballer allowed ten hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out three.
