Elite 8: Anthony Balacich Vs Nick Tariela

I thought the first game we had against the Blue Sox was great. Little did I know that the next game would be even better. It was definately one of the most intense games I've ever pitched in. Both teams emotions running high. Chirping back and forth. The game was scoreless until Jerry came up big against Nick yet again. What else is new. His homer gave us a 1-0 lead and a chance to move on to the Final Four. It was the 6th consecutive game he had homered in. 4 of them game winners. The Blue Sox would not give up. They kept knocking at the door all day. They had the bases loaded in the 5th but I managed to shut them down. Nick is a great pitcher and I think the Blue Sox and Swingers have developed a nice little rivalry for the future. We won 1-0
