Bandits became the first team to win back to back titles...
10th annual Jesse Ales Memorial Softball Tournament.

The tournament was played in fort Bragg August 18 and 19 and All the teams got to enjoy the great weather and play some good softball...
There were 13 teams competing for the ales championship,7 Local teams and 6 from out of town .
Ales (Fort Bragg) lost there first game to drop in to the loser bracket, where they won 4 games in a row before losing a heartbreaker in extra innings to 2nd place finisher Drake(Ukiah),who also lost their first game of the tournament .
Drake went on to beat 3rd place finisher Outlaws (Ukiah), for their 5th win in a row to go on to the championship game against the Bandits..
The Tri county Bandits became the first team to win back to back titles, outscoring their opponets 89-23 while posting a 5-0 record, on there way to there 4th Ales title in 10 years...

Dave Wilson of the Bandits , got M.V.P for his outstanding (batting&pitching), and then turned around and it gave to Casey Ales, from the Ales team, who also got all tournament for his outstanding play.
Casey is the son of Jesse, for whom the Memorial Softball Tournament was founded and name after ..Good job Casey, well deserved...
