Golfmoor 12's take home the trophy!
The 12U Golfmoor Legends coached by Jim Nolan, Jerry Veeck, and John Vibbert, took home the first place trophy in our All-Star tournament. The championship game was a 5-0 win over Highland. Thanks to stellar pitching by Bryce Newman, who gunned for Golfmoor in all seven innings, a flawless infield and outfield, and last but not least-some big hits from our all-stars! The team includes-Bryce Newman, Shawn Mays, Ethan Pickett, Ryan Nolan, Trevor Veeck, Trevor Fetscher, Austin Montgomery, Drew Brothers, Jacob Norman, Craig Beeson, Dylan Ritter, and Andrew Spalding.
Congratulations to the team!
6u - 9u Golfmoor Allstar Summary
Saturday and Sunday games provided so much excitement it was heart-stopping. There were too many great homeruns, spectacular defensive plays, and stellar pitching performances to write here in this summary.
West Terrace won the six year old age division by beating the Henderson Stingers.
Newburgh outlasted East in the seven year old age division.
In the eight year old division, Morac Orange defeated the Golfmoor Hitmen to take the 8u crown.
The Golfmoor Young Guns defeated the Evansville Tripletts to capture the 9u division.
Some extra tidbits that should be pointed out. West Terrace defeated Newburgh in semi final round after a 14-14 tie but they recorded one more out than Newburgh and that was on the final play of the game. Newburgh came back and won 7u title after losing to East a week ago in East's tournament. Morac Orange did the same by beating Golfmoor after losing to them in the championship game at East. The Golfmoor Young Guns pulled off a miracle in the bottom of the eight by holding the winning run to 3rd base with no outs and then winning in the ninth to galliant Boonville team in a semi final round game.
These facts state the hearts of all these kids on all these teams. Never giving up no matter if they are knocked down. Each kid that participated in our tournament fought hard and it was a pleasure to put that well deserved medallion around their necks.

Golfmoor is officially Chartered by Little League International

The road from Evansville to Williamsport, Pa begins at Golfmoor Baseball Association. Golfmoor made history becoming the only athletic association to be Little League International sanctioned in the city of Evansville.
We are extremely excited about the future for our nine through 12 year old participants, but have numerous challenges ahead of us. We look forward to providing the best baseball possible to our kids.
