THE OUTCOME WAS NOT WHAT WE WANTED BUT GIVE WHITTIER CREDIT, THEY ARE NOT 3 TIME CHAMPS FOR NO REASON. THE GAME WAS WITH IN YOUR GRASP AND IT GOT AWAY IN THE END. YOU GAME WHITTIER A TOUGH GAME AND THE SCOREBOARD DOES NOT SHOW HOW CLOSE THE GAME ACTUALLY WAS. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL YOU THAT WILL GO ON TO HIGH SCHOOL. COACHES, GREAT JOB AND GREAT SEASON. I HOPE YOUR STAFF RETURNS NEXT YEAR AND TAKES US ALL THE WAY AGAIN. WOLFPACK FOR LIFE!!!!!! |

Yeah, Whittier is a great team, but you wouldn't have gotten this far if you guys weren't great either. Just concentrate on beating the man in front of you on EVERY DOWN and you'll win. The Redskins aren't "superhuman", they just have heart, they don't make mistakes and have good coaches, but guess what? SO DO YOU!!! Just leave it all on the field. We know you guys will bring it to Whittier on sunday, and all of Boyle Heights will be there to support you. To the coaching staff you guys are great coaches and have taught those boys how to play real hard football. You guys appreciate and always include the cheer, and that says alot about you guys. It's not only about the football, it's about the cheer too because we have great cheer here in Boyle Heights. Our girls bring it and represent every weekend, so thank you coaches! I hope you know that you are appreciated here in Boyle Heights. Let go get that championship. GO WOLFPACK!!! |

Wolfpack suffered for a very long time and went thru some embarrasing moments. Those that played in the king conference know what humility is. A touchdown meant a win, a win meant a championship. Many of my homies that played in wolfpack with me are no longer with us. But win or lose and it was lose most of the time, we had fun and went out there every week knowing we were going to get our butts kicked, but representing Boyle Heights wolfpack was worth it. Be proud of Boyle Heights and the fact that you play for Wolfpack. GO out on Sunday and play your hearts out and always remember that so many suffered on that field and made it possible for you to be where you are today. Who cares if Whittier is undefeated, they bleed just like you, they sweat just like you and I guarentee you that the same fears and butterflies you will have, they will have. Kick butt on Sunday and always be proud to represent Boyle Heights. |

But you have so much more left to enjoy, so much more to accomplish, so don't lose that fire or that hunger to win. You guys have a great team so remember to play like one. Eleven players as one on that field on Sunday at all times gentlemen and kick some butt between the lines and before the whistle. Just like Coach Beto said: The Wolfpack has come a long way from the days of: "Y'all aint nothin' but a soccer team". Many of you either don't remember those days or weren't part of the organization yet, but I've been a part of the Wolfpack for over a decade and I was on those teams that struggled to score a touchdown all season long let alone win a game. And trust me, the difference is amazing. It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it. But also realize that now there's a reason why you are in the CHAMPIONSHIP game, because you belong there. It's not a fluke, it's not just luck. We're not the organization that everyone makes fun of anymore. I've always been proud to say that I'm a Wolfpacker for life, and even more so because of not only the success we've had on the field the last years, but also the way the Wolfpack and everybody involved have truly made the community a better place to be by producing great young men and women and great attitudes through the years. So Jr. Midgets... play your hearts out on Sunday, play every second as if it was your last, never let up and play not only as a team but as a FAMILY. Remember that all of Boyle Heights is already proud of you and all that you've accomplished so far. And to the Coaches, good luck and god speed on Sunday. Trust your gut and keep doing a tremendous job out there. You guys have found a home here in Boyle Heights and were behind you 100 %. To the fans, let's make it a BLACK-OUT in Baldwin Park on Sunday and let Whittier know that we're not just knocking at the door anymore...we're here to BREAK IT DOWN with a battering-ram!!!
