If ya feed a steady diet of fastballs to young bucks like that, they're gonna take advantage of a few of 'em. Especially when it comes to youngsters, finesse 'em. Remember Frank Tanana, Charlie Hough? Those guys are a great example. I know you'll be out there again, delivering the goods. Everyone out there gave their best, and if you check it out, we were second in total runs allowed. Pretty good for an older club in a young division!!! |

It was one stinking pitch that would have changed the whole outlook of the game. Sometimes my ego gets the best of me when I am on the mound. I feel I can do a job and push through it. I thought that the third stike would have gotten us out of a jam and the inning was over with a score of 0-0. However, as it turned out the clear strike was called a ball and hell broke loose. I am very sorry for that one pitch..One stinking pitch....Maybe it is time for me to let the younger pitchers do the thing I love so much. Either it's time for retirerment or play with the older guys...and act my age...sorry Titans.. |

(Could be the ICICLES!!), but nontheless, we still battled against probably the best pitcher we have faced thus far. In the second game, even though we got behind early, we showed resiliency and resolve to win. Jessie was OUT OF HIS MIND today at the plate. What a performance! 5 hits on the day! We welcome "rookies" Purvis Cowens and Tony Covarrubias, as well as Joe Navarro and Fernando Rivas. Also, special thanks to the Sweet Life and Margie O.
