ALL SWIMMERS TIMES FOR 2008 SEASON
If you want to see all of your swim times for the 2008 season, see the Times by Swimmer file (in the Handouts section) and look for your name (alphabetically). Please keep in mind that this is a very large file and may take a while to load. There is also a final Top Times report. Congrats to all of our swimmers!
A & B Finals info...
In the handouts section of this website are the results of the 2008 A finals (preliminaries and finals) and B finals championship meet. Congratulations to all of our swimmers! Special congratulations to Matt McNamara - A finals champion in 13-14 boys 50 breaststroke and 13-14 boys 100 I.M. - and for breaking his own records in those events! Also, check out the photo albums for new pictures of the A finals parade thanks to Hank Berry! In addition, Chris Fleck took action photos at A finals. MINI-MEET INFORMATION...
The results from all Mini-Meets are available in the Invitationals section.
** Top Times **
In the handouts section of this website is a Top Times report through the first five meets of the season. This is just a frame of reference for everyone who is wondering if they will go to A or B finals. The top two swimmers in each regular dual meet event will go to A finals - the rest of the team goes to B finals. There are a few exceptions to this..a swimmer can only swim 2 events and 1 relay or 1 event and 2 relays at A finals, so if one swimmer has a top time in 3 events, then the third fastest will be chosen to go to A finals. Ultimately, Coaches Sean and Katie have the final say in who goes to A and who goes to B. They will make their decision after the Monday meet. At the home meet on Thursday, July 10th there will be volunteers asking parents what their child would like to swim at B finals (coaches decide A Finals entries) and how you would like to volunteer at the meet. The team pays the entry fees for B finals, we just want to make sure if your swimmer signs up to swim at the meet, you actually intend to go to the meet. We will also be looking for volunteers for the A finals meet. If your child is swimming at either meet, plan on working.
Annual Parent Meeting
Don't forget the Annual Parents Meeting at the Rec Center on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 7 p.m. Required for all new and returning parents. If you missed the parents meeting, please see the handouts section of this website for meeting highlights.

HWAC T-Shirts
If you don't have your team T-shirt yet, you may pick it up at practice this Thursday, May 29th, between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. After Thursday, T-shirts will not be distributed again until our first home meet, June 23rd. Look for Sheri Miller in the pool bleachers.
HWAC BOWLING PARTY

Red & Black Meet
RED & BLACK MEET REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Our first Red & Black meet is just around the corner. This fun inter-squad meet will be our Special Olympics fundraiser. Just $5.00 gets your swimmer an entry. Spectator admission is $2.00. Click on the REGISTRATION INFORMATION link for an informative flyer. The event will take place Sunday, July 13 at 9:00am and should wrap up by 11:00am. If you would like to help with set-up or clean-up and haven't had a chance to volunteer at a swim meet, here is your chance. Contact Mary Anne Shrikian, MAShrikian@sbcglobal.net.
