SWS Player Policy for residents outside the LS School District

The Strasburg Willow Street Baseball Softball Association (SWS) exists to provide baseball and softball opportunities to residents of the Lampeter-Strasburg (L-S) School District.

Likewise, we welcome players and families within the district boundaries who may not attend L-S. On occasions when a player from outside the district requests to play for our organization we reserve the right to accept, selectively place or not accept the request. If said player's request is accepted we understand that we will need to adhere to league (Lanco Baseball, Lanco Softball, Donegal/Rheems Softball) rules regarding players from outside districts. We also reserve the right to place said player at a level without regard to an evaluation. A player native to L-S will not lose a roster spot to a player from outside the district.
