General Information
Registration forms and Team fees are due no later than July 29th
Team Fees are $400.00 
Can an Individual Register if they do not have a team?  YES
If Individuals would like to be placed on a team they may register as an individual.  Once enough individuals have registered to form a team, the individual registrants will be contacted with their Manager's name and contact information.  Placement on teams will be on a first come/ first serve basis. Registration fees from Individuals will not be collected until they have been placed on a team.
Where can I find the Rules, Official Roster Forms and Waiver Forms?
Rules, Official Roster forms, and waiver forms will be emailed to the manager once we receive the Team Registration. These forms may also be downloaded from the website.
Who are eligible to Play?
Anyone who has aged out of our Youth Recreation Programs will be eligible to play.  This includes all females born on or before 12/31/1999 and all males born on or before 04/30/2001
Team lineups must consist of 4 females/ 6 males. 
What equipment is needed? 
Each team will be given 6 - 12" Softballs for practice (games balls will be provided by the recreation department).  Bats must be USA Softball Certified.  Catcher / pitcher masks are optional.
Teams are responsible for their own uniforms which must be a shirt of the same color with a number on the back - No duplicate numbers can be used
How many games will we play?
All teams will be guaranteed 10 Regular season games and also a post season tournament
Opening Day - August 5th
Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights- Makeup games due to inclement weather may be played on other nights.

The Mission of the Chocowinity Recreation Department is to provide enjoyment and instruction in the sports of baseball, softball and Football. Good sportsmanship and
fundamentals will be stressed for players and coaches. The program is designed to give each participant an opportunity to learn, develop, and play. The Chocowinity Recreation Complex is located on HWY 33 East in Chocowinity. The park has many amenities
including 4 baseball/softball fields and a football field. There is also a beach volleyball court, a walking trail (1 lap = 2/3 mile), and a playground and a concession stand that is open during games.

There are 2 shelters that can be used for picnics and birthday parties. You can reserve a shelter by calling 252-946-6568.
