All Star Selection Process

ARTICLE X: All Star Team Draft Guidelines

A. 4 players are voted on by the players with a ballot the week before the All Star draft (they can’t vote for their own teammates) – 13’s vote for 13’s, 14’s vote for 14’s and 15’s vote for 15’s.

B. 4 players are voted on by the regular season managers - vote to take place by ballot at the All Star draft (managers cannot vote for players on their own team, but will be given an opportunity to promote the players on their team that they think deserve recognition before the vote takes place). REMINDER - vote is based on regular season performance - NOT travel team performance. There may be a player who is not on travel who deserves a spot on the All Star team, based on his regular season performance.

C. 3 players are selected by the All Star manager at the draft.

D. 1 player is selected by the President at the draft.


There are 4 kinds of people that are at each game.

PLAYERS -- Players play + they play hard -- they don't argue calls, they
don't trash talk, they don't coach, they don't dwell on mistakes. That
includes both their own and those made by teammates.

UMPIRES - They are the guys who call balls, strikes, fair, foul, out or
safe. Others might not agree but I have yet to see an umpire respond to
a yelling match by saying..."you know what, your right and I'm wrong. I
think I will change my call. Thanks for yelling at me."

FANS - Fans cheer and applaud all that deserve such. A nice play is a
nice play regardless of the color of the uniform.

COACHES - Coaches are the crossovers. They coach. They also get to
cheer. They are the ones that approach umpires when a "discussion" is
warranted.
