Veterans Memorial Park (formerly known as "Moriches Park):
From the West on Northern State Pkwy:
Take Northern State Parkway East, past exit 46, to end. The road becomes Routes 347/454.
In 2 miles the road splits. Stay to the left on Route 347. Go about 3 miles.
After you cross over Jericho Tpke (rte 25), take the second Left (2nd light), onto Moriches Road, Smithhaven Mall will be on your right.
The park is about a mile down on the right after Nursing Homes. The field is in the back Northeast corner. Drive through the first parking lot, past the basketball courts to the left and you will see the fields on your right.
From the West on Long Island Expressway::
Take LIE, Southern State or Northern State Parkway to Sunken Meadow-Saktikos Parkway North. Get off the Jericho Tpke. East Exit # SM3E.
Go east on Jericho Tpke. (Rte 25/25A) about 5 miles. At the intersections of Rte 111, (Smithtown Library and White Church on corner) turn left onto Rte 25A North.
Go about 1.5 miles and then at the first light turn right onto Woodlawn Avenue. Go straight past Lake Avenue to the end of Woodlawn Avenue and make a left onto Moriches Road. Make right into the Park driveway.
The field is in the back Northeast corner. Drive through the first parking lot, and passing the basketball courts, and continue to the left and park as far North in the lot as you can.
From the East:
Take LIE to exit 62 North (Nichols Road) about 5 miles to Route 347 (Nesconset Highway)
Make a left onto Route 347. Go about 1.5 miles on Route 347 then turn right onto Moriches Road.
Moriches Park is on the right after two nursing homes. The field is in the back Northeast corner.
Drive through the first parking lot, and the basketball courts and continue to the left and park as far North in the lot as you can.
