Polar Star 2 (Avella)
22/30 West
Go to Burgettstown exit take 18 south go through Burgettstown to Atlasburg.
At Paris construction, on your right. Make right then bear right.
Follow to Avella.
Make right onto Browntown road. Towards Meadow-croft village, cross railroad tracks road bears right.
Cross bridge and at end of bridge make right and follow under railroad to fields.
I-79
Travel I-79 South and exit at the Bridgeville exit.
At the light make a left onto Route 50 West.
Stay on Route 50 West for approximately 20-25 minutes.
You will travel through the town of Hickory, PA.
Stay on Route 50 West.
This will take you past Avella High School (located on your right).
Approximately 5 miles past the high school, you will come to the main street of Avella.
The Fire Department will be located on your right.
Continue straight onto a cobblestone street.
At the stop sign, turn right (over a small bridge).
Make the immediate left (over another small bridge).
Cross the railroad tracks and continue, following the road, making a sharp right turn.
Continue over another small bridge.
To get to the field area, turn right and take the roadway located to your right.
This will take you to the Polar Star fields.
