INTERESTED IN MANAGING, CHECK OFF BOX ON FORM.....MANAGER HAS FULL CONTROL OF THE TEAM AND GETS TO SELECT COACHES....

The following is a guide to assist you with selecting a division for your child...

T-Ball....for 5 & 6 year olds..

Rookies...For 7 & 8 year olds...advanced 6 year olds can play Rookies, but they MUST have played a year of t-ball in the MCLL...If registering a 6 year old, we will need to verify this in our computer...In addition, we will check the managers ratings from the previous year in t-ball to see if it warrants the 6 year old playing up..

AA........8 & 9 year olds....advanced 8 year olds can play in AA, provided their 2008 ratings warrant it..A 10 year old can play AA, upon parent request..Check box on Reg form that applies a 10 year old playing AA..

AAA......10 & 11 year olds...9 Year olds are Not permitted in this division....

Majors.....11 & 12 year olds...IMPORTANT NOTE..Little League National requires all 12's to be placed in this division...Additionally, they mandate that we only have 10 teams...As a result, many 11 year olds that register for the Majors, will be placed into the AAA Division following the Draft...For a 12 year old to play AAA, a parent MUST check the appropriate box on the reg form and fill out a waiver..

Juniors.....13 & 14 year olds....We are going to attempt to run a 75 foot program for 13 year olds....When registering a 13 year old, you Must check the box for 13 to play 75 foot, if you do not, they will automatically be placed in the 90 foot Juniors program...This 75 foot is a pilot project, if we do not get the needed numbers, all 13's will play 90 foot baseball..

To move the Juniors games along at a better pace in 2009, Juniors games will be 6 inning games and not 7 innings as in the past...

In addition, the Massapequa Chiefs school baseball progarm has lifted their no pitch policy for 7th & 8th grade school ball players. School position players will now be allowed to pitch limited innings on a weekly basis to afford opportunities to those that want to pitch and give each of the teams greater pitching depth.

Seniors.....15 & 16 year olds....Will play inter-league with the Massapequa International Little League

Big Leagues....17 & 18 year olds...Season starts 1st week of June...

Challenger($15.00)....Any player with a physical or mental handicap...Players can reside anywhere...
