Schedule expectations: The basic schedule layout is every Mon/Wed/Fri after Memorial day. However, rainouts and reschedules will result in Tues/Thurs games also. There will be Sat/Sun game also.
Regular season start times are 6PM week nights. Playoffs move to 5:30PM
July 3, 4, 5 & 6th are open.... for now.
Last regular season game is July 1st
Main Line League Playoff tourney begins July 7th. Expect game to be played Sat July 11 and Sun July 12. All tourney games are located at Radnor Wayne facilities. Week night playoff games will have 5:30 start times. Finals for this tourney will most likly take place July 13. Winner advances to PA district 3 tourney.
PA district 3 tourney begins July 18th and will be hosted @ Boyertown. Must win the Main Line League Tourney to advance to this level. Games at this level are 9 innings and are scheduled at various times during the day.

As we move into graduation party season it's gonna be hard to get all together in 1 place at same time. I'll try and target some practice sessions.
For planning purposes please prepare for the following:
1.) Game schedule - Please review attached schedule ( /springfieldaa/files/Legion Line Ups 30 Apr 2009.pdf ) and prepare to let me know which games you will miss. If your name has a number in the Position column you are scheduled to start that game.
2.) Birth Certs - I will need original birth cert from Antenucci, Baksi, Bayless, Boyle, Desidario, Megaro, Small, Smith
3) ALB forms - Please open here and fill out alb Form 2 and print 2 copies. I will need to collect both copies. 1 Copy gets filed with the state I will keep the other copy in case of emergency. I do realize the "privacy" issue that the info on this form brings up. Please fill the forms out completely and relalize that the numbers are not verified or validated by anyone.
April 17th Update:
Nothing scheduled for the next couple weeks but keep checking back here for updates. If you're around and looking to serve some community service, (or looking to have some fun) I'm running tryouts for the 10 year old tourney team. I could always use some help with running drills and exercise for the kids.

Update 20 mar 2009: To better manage crowds and work around conflicts we’re changing the schedule a little bit. While the 3-5PM time frame is still good, if we can get most of the Sophs to show up for 3PM we can get them out by 4PM . If that time still presses against Soph Hop, just stay home and come out Sunday. Older guys, Jr’s and Sr’s, show up at 4PM . Also, any Soph who has another conflict can show up at 4PM if you wish.

Ans: You either have not registered for SAA and signed up for travel baseball or you signed up after March 5th.

Ans: If you signed up after March 5th, go to the tryouts as scheduled below. If you have not registered for SAA, go now and register for SAA, select travel baseball then go to the tryouts as scheduled below.
Question: Do I need to call anybody?
Ans: While keeping us informed would be nice it's not a requirement. We check the signup list everyday and know who is and who is not signed up. If you have trouble signing up, call or email Jeff Kilgallen either one will know how to help you.

In the second inning of the Narberth / Wayne game, Wayne's first baseman,Marcus Vonhertsenberg was injured in collision with a Narberth batter/runner while taking a throw from the infield. Marcus was taken off the field in an ambulance and transported to UPenn via helicopter. Bryan Bendowski reported after the game that Marcus had suffered a concussion and his leg was being x-rayed for a possible broken leg. Please keep Marcus in thoughts and prayers.
