"In Loving Memory"
Our Commissioner Dick Garner Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia Pa. He was 83. Dick was a resident of King of Prussia and worked as a self-employed upholsterer. He was a member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia. Dick was the Commissioner of the Keystone State Football League for 30 years, a football coach for the King of Prussia Indians for 10 years and he was an inductee to the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Dick was a US Navy veteran of WW II, serving from 1944 to 1946.

Dick was born in Philadelphia on April 22, 1926. He was the husband of the late Muriel E. (Kelly) Garner, who died in 2005. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Richard L Garner Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Phoenixville, Pa; three daughters: Patricia Miller Hamilton and her husband, Walter of Morgantown, Pa, Deborah A. Helman and her husband Dennis of Norristown, Pa and Viki G. Beal and her husband, Todd of Malvern Pa; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Fleming and her husband, Harry of Orangeburg, SC and Anita Pard and her husband, Ren of Lower Gwynedd, Pa; and many nephews and nieces.

Please keep Dick in your thoughts and prayers through out the years as he was laid to rest on April 22, 2010 at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, Pa.

He was loved by all and will be missed by many!
