Our History
Although our Maine Maniacs history is somewhat short; our success is not.
The Maine Maniacs Basketball Club was started in 2003 on a small scale with one team. Since its inception, the core ideal of the club was to assemble the best Maine players possible for successful AAU and YBOA programs.
In early 2004, the Maniacs program took another leap forward and offered another age group.
In the spring 2007 season the Maniacs fielded teams at all the age groups which included a total of 7 girls'teams competing in both AAU and YBOA State Championships, with 3 of the Maniacs girls' teams winning either an AAU or YBOA State Championship.
It is now the mission of the Maine Maniacs Basketball Club to offer and fill teams at all age groups, from 10U to 17U and compete at the highest level.
