MIBL - Constitution

MIBL Constitution - PDF Format
Following the 2005 postseason, MIBL (Metro Intermediate Baseball League) team representatives met and decided to implement a new league structure consisting of two primary groups, the Board and Executive.

The Board is the group of team representatives responsible to communicate all decisions and policies to their teams and represent their teams at all league meetings and vote on all league matters.

The Executive is elected by the Board and consist of President, Vice President and Secretary. The Executive is responsible for the development of League Operating Procedures, Discipline Policies, Admission Policies for new teams and day-to-day league operations.

Prior to the conclusion of the 2005 Year End Meeting, Board members elected the inaugural Executive and quickly assigned a list to complete prior to the start of the 2006 season. The Executive's primary focus was to development league rules and guidelines for teams, managers and players to follow throughout the course of the year.

After 6 months of extensive meetings and many hours, the Executive presented the League Constitution for review at the 2006 Preseason Meeting for Board members, team representatives and individuals interested in league membership.

I am proud to say the Constitution was accepted with minor changes and is still the backbone of the league.

On behalf of the MIBL Executive, I would like to thank everyone who helped develop the MIBL Constitution and I wish the best of luck to the teams, players and all those that support the MIBL.

Thank you,

Dennis Delorey
MIBL, President
