50 / 50 Scholorship Program

The 50/50 Scholorship Program was started back in 1992 as a way to raise money during the season to award to an eligable player at the end of the season. Jerry Raike ( A former Officer ) is credited with getting the program started.

To date we have awarded over $18,000.00 to young ladies who have gone on to college after their playing days at GGSA were over.

That also means that GGSA has given back to you, the participants in the 50/50 drawing over $18,000.00. So come on, next time you hear someone down at the diamonds yell "50/50 " be sure to get your dollar out and take a chance. Even if you lose, it is for a great cause.
