7/30/2023 edition (All new scores will be highlighted in yellow)

I keep using the word incredible in these descriptions but it's so true!  Tonight was no exception.  First, let me get this out of the way: Claremont is now the 9-10-11 Southern California State Champions!  Woo hoo!  It was a tense game as both teams came out to play some serious baseball.  The Palos Verde team came out to an early lead while the Claremont bats always seemed to find their way directly to the fielders.  But with a home run in the bottom of the 4th, the Claremont team came alive.  Entering the top of the sixth, Claremont was leading 8 to 5.  Palos Verde clawed back two more runs before the Claremont defence shut down the their offense with the final score being Claremont 8, Palos Verde 7.  Great job boys!
