Our Organization...Join the Fun!
The Edgewater Park Athletic Association (EPAA) of Edgewater Park, New Jersey, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the purpose of teaching boys and girls of Edgewater Park the meaning of fair play, to build healthy minds and bodies, and to help mold character to become model citizens through youth athletics.
The EPAA has been a valuable contributor to the community for many years helping to influence young boys and girls into becoming responsible and confidant adults. We view our organization as a key dimension of family living in our town.
The success of the EPAA sports programs, in providing an outlet for the town’s youth and positive experience for the community, requires a lot of hardwork by our volunteers, collaboration with our township, and generous support from our sponsors. Get Involved...Join the Fun!
Bonfire Tradition Rekindled!
The EPAA had its end of season Bonfire November 21st 2015 and it was a big hit with the community. Several hundred people attended the Bonfire. The weather was perfect, chilly and clear with no wind.
The EPAA has sports programs for boys and girls, age groups from Pre-K to 8th grade.
Soccer: Pre-K to 8th grade
Basketball: Kindergarten to 8th grade
Baseball: Pre-K to 8th grade
Softball: Pre-K to 8th grade
Flag Football: Kindergarten to 8th grade
The coaches are hardworking parents and community members donating time to teach our kids the various aspects of the game; from the basic to the advanced skills along with sportsmanship and fair play. The EPAA offers each coach the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y training curriculum to give them the basics of coaching and the legal liability protection afforded by the “Little League Law”.
Interested in coaching…Simply let us know!
The EPAA runs on the talents of many dedicated individuals. These people are parents, sports enthusiasts, community and business leaders who all share in the active support of our children through quality athletics. If you would like to help in any way, with any time or any talent, please contact any of the board members.
We strive to keep our registration fees reasonable to attract more families to participate in our programs. In order to offset the rising costs of youth athletics, the EPAA is truly grateful to all of our sponsors (See Sponsors Link) who provide financial support to our league and give back to our community!
