Host a OCCL player

"Friendship and Memories That WIll Last a Lifetime"

Do you love baseball? Over the 5 year history of OCCL Baseball in Orange County, the Host Family program has been a vital part of the Leagues success both on and off the field. Having players become a part of a local family helps these young men have a sense of normalcy and family atmosphere, in a new city.

Many of the players become more than a guest; they actually become part of the family. Every year approximately 8-12 young men move to Orange County for the summer to play baseball. The warmth they receive from a Host Family is priceless as they try to advance their career.

Being a host family presents a unique opportunity to be part of the baseball season unlike any other, by providing a summer home for a player. Host Family’s are required to provide a room. From May 27, 2015 through July 31st 2015. These Semi-Professional College baseball players continue their season with 33 summer season games, with 16 home games. Players come from all over the United States to compete in a 5 games a week schedule.

Host families receive Free entry to games and $350 per month per player to help out. In return for building a relationship that can last a lifetime. Some of these players go on to play Professional baseball and into the Major leagues.
