Benefits of Playing Ringette

Ringette is a great sport for all children to help learn and develop their skating skills, learn team sportsmanship, and develop long lasting friendships on and off the ice.

In ringette we hold no child back from developing to their full potential and can be as competitive as they want or just be out there for the fun of it.

We have qualified coaches that will help your child develop to their full potential, making your child feel worthy of their efforts.

Cost of registration includes one practice ice and game ice times, and home tournament fees.  For specific pricing, please see our registration form.  There is only one fundraiser, and small commitment of volunteer time for the home tournament.

For an explanation of Ringette and basic rules, please go to the About Ringette page.

Where Do I Start?

We have a “Come Try Ringette” at various times of the year.  This is excellent opportunity for your child to come out and try to see if they are interested.  Please watch for a brochure through your school or check our website for more information on “Come Try Ringette” events.

Check out some home games at the Selkirk Rec by going to WRL website and search on Selkirk Teams.

Talk to parents of current players or contact any board member listed on our Contact Us page.

Stay informed on upcoming events and deadlines in Selkirk Ringette by joining our mailing list.  Send a quick email to our communications board member to get your name on the list.

Lastly...just come out and register and meet us first hand.   Registration is end of August and beginning of September.
