 1) promote a high ideal of sportsmanship;

2) instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic in the classroom and on the playing field; and

3) inspire the principles of health, citizenship and character among the youth in the community.   

BYA offers youth the opportunity to participate in athletic competition, while developing skills in sportsmanship, fair play, and fellowship, and convey these activities through the elements of safety, sanity, and careful supervision. We feel it is our duty to make the welfare of the children the utmost importance and to maintain a program of service to our youth entirely free of adult ambition and personal glory.
