Scheduling Basics: Coaches are responsible for scheduling practices. MVYBS is responsible for scheduling all games at MVYBS fields. These facilities are extremely busy to accommodate all of our teams for practices and games. Coaches should only schedule practices that they fully intend to complete. Over-scheduling will not be tolerated and the scheduling administrator reserves the right to cancel excessive scheduling.

Scheduling for practices: Use the "Field Scheduling" link on the website and then click to reserve Online. Once inside the Scheduling website use the Coaches Facilities link to reserve any available field.  ALWAYS REMEMBER that game rescheduling takes precedence over practices, if a game is rescheduled over one of your scheduled practices you will be notified via email of the practice cancellation.

 GAME RESCHEDULING: As you know, many times throughout the season the need will arise to reschedule games (rain-outs, field conflicts, scheduling mistakes, etc). It is very important to make sure game schedules are properly modified to reflect the rescheduling. Please follow these steps to reschedule a game:

If it is simply a date and or time change of an away game (not at MVYBS Ball Park), just let MVYBS know the original and new date and time.

example: Rookie MV Maroon on 5/8 at 530pm at Holy Rosary was rescheduled to 5/8 at 7pm at Holy Rosary.

If it changes, creates or deletes a home game at MVYBS, contact MVYBS scheduling team for help....   email: mvybschedule@gmail.com

In either case, the MVYBS scheduling team will also handle communication with Rural League/ Cal Ripken/ Girl's Softball League scheduling, concession coordinator and umpire coordinator. If you have already done some rescheduling please let MVYBS know asap!

 HELPFUL TOOL ON THE WEBSITE: Something else that you will find useful is the "Umpire Schedule" link on our website - obviously it shows the umpires scheduled to work for each MVYBS game. It can also be used to view the schedule for all home MVYBS games. The "Team" pull down menu can be used to sort by field or by division. DO NOT USE the "Division" pull down menu, it does not work for this web page and will hose it up - if you mess up, just click on the "Umpire Schedule" link again and try to be smarter next time :)
