RRBL Fall 2015 Schedule Information
Champion Fields at Old Settlers Park
Fall season games will be played on Saturdays during the months of September and October based on field availability. In the event of multiple rainouts, we may use weeknights or Sunday afternoons as options to make up any games (if feasible). There will be one weekend in both September and October when there will be no scheduled games. We will not have access to the baseball fields on those weekends per our contract with the city Parks and Recreation Department (they host select tournaments on those weekends).
The following dates are planned for fall season, but are subject to change. Please take these dates into consideration when registering your player:
- Monday, August 31: First day available for RRBL practices
- Saturday, September 5 (Labor Day Weekend): Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning at 9:00 am.
- Saturday, September 12: Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning at 9:00 am.
- Saturday, September 19: Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning at 9:00 am.
- Saturday, October 3: Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning after 3:00 pm. The park will be closed until 3:00 pm for the McNeil Invitational Cross Country track meet.
- Saturday, October 10: Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning after 3:00 pm. The park will be closed until 3:00 pm for the Outlaw Trail bicycle race.
- Saturday, October 23: Games played at Old Settlers Park beginning at 9:00 am.
- Friday, October 30: First day of the End of Season Tournament. Games begin at 6:00pm on Friday. The tournament will begin on Friday this year so that we can finish earlier in the afternoon on Saturday since it is Halloween.
- Saturday, October 31 (Halloween): Second day of End of Season Tournament. Games begin at 9:00 am.
RRBL does not own the baseball fields at Old Settlers Park and do not have unlimited access. We use them via lease agreement with the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department. Our schedule is planned around the access granted in that agreement. RRBL and all registered participants are subject to all park rules established by the City of Round Rock.
