Pasadena Baseball Club - PBC
The Pasadena Baseball Club is a non-profit, all-volunteer, community-based youth baseball organization operating in the Pasadena, Maryland, area since 1953.

The PBC operates three baseball programs to best provide parents in our community the level of skill, experience, and competitiveness most appropriate for their children.  Practice Hard • Play Fair • Have Fun
> Clinic Baseball is intended to introduce baseball to our youngest and least experience players.
> Intramural Baseball provides the typical in-house "rec-ball" level of play, with a Pasadena World Series, all-star teams, etc.
> Travel Baseball challenges players to improve beyond the "rec-ball" level in order to better prepare themselves for high school play and beyond.

Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, AA Co. Rec & Parks may "close all fields" - when they use that specific phrase, ALL PBC FIELDS ARE CLOSED for practices and games.  Check their cancellation notice or call 410-222-7312.  We will try to post postponements in a News Alert when this happens.  If the County does not explicity "close all fields", then it is up to the two managers to go to the field at least 1.5 hours in advance to determine field playability.  Example: the County may cancel all County scheduled baseball games, but that does not mean PBC games are cancelled.  All players should expect to play and show up on time so your team doesn't forfeit.  When in doubt, contact your team manager.

Sportsmanship
We practice hard. We play fair. But most importantly, we have FUN!

The Pasadena Baseball Club has a zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike conduct. Whether you participate in the very relaxed Clinic program, or the highly competitive Travel program, we expect all of our players, managers, coaches, officials, and spectators to demonstrate sportsmanlike conduct at all times. If you can't conduct yourself accordingly, we ask you to please not sign up to play in our Club.

We have adopted Anne Arundel County Rec & Parks "Coach's Code of Ethics" and will consult their "Disciplinary Actions" as necessary. To help ensure that all members of the Club use good sportsmanship, the Club has established a Sportsmanship Board to promote good sportsmanship and correct unsportsmanlike conduct. Our Sportsmanship Policy is located under Handouts, and Coach's Code of Ethics and Disciplinary Actions are located under Coaches Box. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact a member of the Sportsmanship Board.
