Illegal Bats

To All Directors and Coaches:
We are starting to find that manufactures have come out with some new technology and are making Composite Bats that are 1 piece. The handle is made of composite material and they are NOT labeling these bats as Composite.
Once again this is going to fall on to all coaches and players to make sure these bats DO NOT come into play in our League. All our umpires are going to be instructed to make a note of any bat that is questioned and report it to the league. We will research the Bat's Specs and if we find that the bat is made with a composite material the coach will receive a call from the league.
If the bat in question comes into play again we will enforce the NO COMPOSITE BAT RULE and the Head Coach and Player will be suspended.
I suggest that all coaches and players research your bats well.
We feel very strongly about the safety of our players, this is why the NO COMPOSITE BATS Rule is in our Rule Book and will be enforced !
