Bayonne Little League

Bayonne defeated Palisades Park/Leonia 8-1 to improve their season to 7-0. Justin Hoffman started the game and pitched a scoreless 1st. TJ Wlof got Bayonne on the board early with a 2 run double. Hoffman would drive in Wolf with a single; Andrew Johnston added another run with a single to put Bayonne up 4-0. The score remained 4-0 until Pal Park scored a run in the 4th. Jack O'Donnell took over for Hoffman, who pitched 3 innings, gave up 1 hit, no earned runs, struck out 4, and walked 2. In the bottom of the 5th Jack Attisano walked, stole second, and scored on Johnston's single, then Chris Valencia drove in Johnston with a single. That brought up Mike Cunningham, who hit his first career homer over the right field fence, putting Bayonne up 8-1. O'Donnell closed the door on Pal Park by pitching 3 shutout innings, giving up 1 hit, with 5 strike outs, and 1 walk.
