Bayonne Little League

Bayonne came from behind to defeat Secaucus 12-7. They were behind 1-0, but back to back doubles by TJ Wolf and Chris Valencia tied the game, Mike Cunningham singled to drive in Valencia, then Justin Hoffman drove in Valencia to make the score 3-1. Secaucus scored 6 runs in the third to take a 7-3 lead. but in the fourth, Bayonne loaded the bases, then Valencia hit a grand slam to tie the score. After a walk to Andrew Johnston and a base hit by Cunningham, Nikko Sanchez put Bayonne on top 10-7 with a 3 run homer; Johnston came in to shut down Secaucus down by pitching 3 scoreless innings striking out 7. Bayonne scored 2 runs in the 6th, Jack Attisano came in relief in the 6th to close out the game for Bayonne to give them their 8th straight win.
